THAMES Water staff take to the Wyvern stage again next week for their 17th annual charity panto – Beauty and the Beast.
Their previous 16 productions have raised £162,000 for charities over the years. This year WaterAid, Cancer Research UK and Blue Cross will all benefit from the production, which runs at the theatre on Friday, January 27, and Saturday, January 28, at 7.30pm. Tickets can be booked at www.wyverntheatre.org.uk.
The show features 35 Thames Water customer service employees from the call centre in Kembrey Park and is produced by customer consultant Paul Aust, with his wife Lisa, a customer advisor, as co-director. He said: “Last year my wife directed the show so of course there’s a bit of matrimonial competition but I’m confident this year’s production will be as successful as last year’s.”
