Opera for lovers

CLASSIC Lehar operetta The Merry Widow is heading for the Wyvern Theatre on Monday.
It’s the work of innovative British theatre company Opera della Luna, which was formed in 1984.
The Merry Widow, which is presented in a new translation, is about a wealthy woman’s attempts to find love.
This production has already won rave reviews.
One critic wrote: “Welcome back, Opera della Luna! – the company synonymous with wit, inventiveness, colour and panache.”
