Fancy a starring role as a pantomime horse?

A LOCAL amateur dramatics group is looking for people to play a pantomime horse, among other roles.
Wroughton Amateur Dramatic And Musical Society is starting to think about the winter, and pantomimes in particular.
Next month they will begin their search for actors old and young to take part in their Christmas panto, Babes in The Wood.
Among the roles is the pantomime horse, so if you want to be on stage without having to learn any lines this could be your chance.
WADAMS is a well-established theatre group which has encouraged a number of local writers to put pen to paper for drama, as well as putting on plays by established authors.
Members come from all over Swindon and put on productions at the Ellendune Centre.
This year, thanks to a generous grant from the Co-Op, the group have obtained some new lighting equipment, which they are donating to the Ellendune Hall.
The group is holding an open evening at the Ellendune Centre on July 11 from 7.45pm for people to find out more about the panto. Auditions will take place on July 18 from 7.45pm.
