The man, who is in his late teens and from the Melksham area, has been taken into custody for questioning.
The fire ripped through a garage that had been converted into an artist's studio at a house in Corsham Road.
The blaze destroyed the entire portfolio belonging to the female artist who lived at the house.

Fire crews were called to the house at 2.10am and put out the flames using breathing apparatus, a hose reels and a main jet.
A subsequent investigation found that the blaze was arson and that a burglary had also been carried out.

Someone in his "late teens" is NOT a man, he is a spotty youth.

I know the boy's family well - the 'spotty youth' was only 16 and turned out to be completely innocent, something which it took the police the entire day to find out, much to their eventual embarrassment, as their 'evidence' appears to have been deeply flawed. Hope they catch the real criminals.
