Prince impressed with cultured passing style

Luke Prince feels his new Chippenham Town teammates deserve their place in the play-offs, even if they complete the job without him.

The versatile midfielder signed from Salisbury City on a month's loan and believes a place in the Southern League Premier Division play-offs are is a done deal.

"I don't think we are going to go far wrong," said the 27-year-old. "We are in the play-off places and had a good win over Gloucester and it is all looking good for the rest of the season.

"I don't know what else this league has got to offer but if the lads play like that they will not have a problem.

"They have worked hard all season, so they deserve to get into the play-offs.

"I don't know if I will be here for them though, we will see how these games go."

Prince ended his loan spell at Bath City early to come to Chippenham.

He was an unused substitute against Gloucester after making his debut in the 2-0 defeat at Merthyr Tydfil on Good Friday.

"It is decent here, it was a good win and we can't complain," he said.

"They play decent football and try and get it down, unlike a lot of teams who try to play route one."
