Fan wins England home shirt
As part of their ground breaking Sponsored by you campaign, Nationwide has announced that Alexander Pollock from Swindon, has won an England home shirt signed by the entire first team.
Alexander won this exclusive signed merchandise through entering the online prize draw on the sponsoredbyyou.com website.
This is the latest initiative in Nationwide's ground breaking 'Sponsored by you' campaign which offers fans the chance to gain unprecedented access to a range of benefits that the organisation receives as part of their sponsorship of the England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland national football teams.
Chris Hull, from Nationwide, commented:
"The 'Sponsored by you' campaign is unique and as a mutual (owned by its customers), Nationwide Building Society is able to offer the sponsor benefits it receives to its customers who now have exclusive access to a wide range of sponsorship benefits normally only available to the biggest companies and brands.
"In addition to the fans' getting the chance to win exclusive signed merchandise, our customers will also be able to appear in TV adverts, have their child lead out the team for a match, see their name in match programme adverts, attend team training sessions, meet the players and management, take part in the online penalty shoot out game with a chance to compete in the finals at Wembley as well as receive match tickets and VIP hospitality".
