A MAN who is accused of grooming and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl is to face trial by jury.
David Smith, of Cotton House Gardens, Fairfield Road, Warminster, is said to have carried out the sex attack on the teenager on Saturday June 16 last year.
And the defendant, who appeared before a judge at Swindon crown court on his 24th birthday, is said to have groomed the child before meeting her.
Smith pleaded not guilty to sexual activity with a child and meeting a child following sexual grooming.
