Man rescued from flat blaze

A MAN was rescued from a fire in a second floor flat in Warminster this morning.

Fire crews were called to the flat in George Street at 10.24am after neighbours reported smoke coming from a window.

On arrival, firefighters made a forced entry and rescued a man from the flat. He received oxygen therapy before being treated by ambulance crews at the scene.

The fire was extinguished using one hose reel jet and four breathing apparatus sets.
