Wootton Bassett woman admits assault

A woman has been remanded in custody by a judge after admitting a charge of wounding with intent.

Paula Outlaw pleaded guilty to assaulting Kim Morgan on Saturday March 8 this year when she appeared at Swindon crown court.

The 39-year-old, of Thornhill, Bushton, near Wootton Bassett, pleaded guilty to a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Alex Daymond, defending, asked for the case to be adjourned so the probation service can compile a pre-sentence report.

He also asked for a psychological report to be compiled on his client before she is sentenced.

Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Friday June 20 and remanded Outlaw in custody.
