Bromham brothers face long suspensions
 |
| Robert Sandiford |
TWO brothers have been handed hefty bans by the Wiltshire FA discipline
committee following Bromham's Trowbridge and District Football League game
against Bratton in April.
Robert and James Sandiford will now miss the first few months of next
season.
Robert will have to wait until Christmas to play again after he was found
guilty of directing foul and abusive language at the referee and refusing to
give his name when asked by the official.
He has also been fined £100.
James has suspended until the beginning of November for using foul and
abusive language and directing foul and abusive language at the referee
having been sent off. He has also been fined £50.
John Goodship, also of Bromham, has been handed a £100 fine following the
same game and a further £200 suspended fine until May 2010.
He was charged with directing foul and abusive language at the match referee
and continuing to do so having been sent away from the confines of the field
of play.
