Teenager Richards shines for Calne
CALNE 2nds' home victory over Trowbridge B in Division Six of the Wiltshire League was set up by accurate bowling.
Only Steve Lewis (29 not out) batted fluently as the visitors struggled to 102 all out, with Chris Edes taking three for 16 off 8.2 overs, Barry Garland three for 20 off 11 and 14-year-old off-spinner Tom Richards three for 22 off 10.
Young Richards rounded off a memorable afternoon by hitting a confident 26 in a breezy opening partnership of 65 with Kevin Toze (38) as Calne won a one-sided contest by eight wickets.
