Two men were injured in a head-on collision on the A350 near Melksham today.

A Silver Peugeot collided with a red Mini around 11.30 this morning. No one else is believed to have been involved.

Wiltshire Ambulance Service took one man in his mid 50s to Royal United Hopsital in Bath with a concussion and possible internal injuries. The other driver, a man in his 20s, was discharged at the scene.

The road was closed from 11.52am until just after 2pm, while the vehicles were recovered and Wiltshire Council cleared up six litres of spilt oil.

Investigations are still ongoing into the cause of the accident.
