Council backs junction rules for Melksham

Parking restrictions at a dangerous junction in Melksham – the turning from Lavender Close onto Snowberry Lane – have been backed by the town council and will now be considered by members of Wiltshire Council.

At whose expense, ours of course, the tax payers. A waste of money if you ask me. Because all this is going to achieve – and you don’t need to be blessed with the gift of foresight - is move the problem further down the road. And it won’t be long before Saxifrage bank and Sweetbriar road fall under the same category – “DANGEROUS JUNCTIONS”. Unless the plan is to extend the white lines along the whole length of Snowberry lane of course.
If the local councillor is following this, could he be kind enough to comment?

the junction aint dangerous but what they need is yellow lines all the way down the road if they got a issue with people parking i dont care about that my concern is the speed cars come down there now the new road is awfull AND YES I AM A RESIDENT WHO LIVES NEAR BY AND I WILL BE SUPPORTING THE NEIGHBOUR HOOD SPEED WATCH !!!!!1
Does the police or the council have any right to impose any restrictions on this road be it speed or parking?
