One person has died and another has suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash outside the Cooper-Avon tyre factory in Melksham in the early hours of Christmas Day.
The Audi A6 lost control on the road opposite the Unicorn pub at around 3.30am striking a brick wall.
One rear seat passenger was killed outright and another has been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries. There were five people in the car, one woman and four men, who were all in their late 20s and early 30s.
Police investigations are still going on. Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident and anyone who saw the Audi travelling along the A350 and into Melksham is asked to contact the serious collision investigation team through the 101 non-emergency number.
