Sport award heirlooms stolen from family home

A family from Allington, near Devizes, has appealed for the return of five silver cups stolen in a break-in at their home on the night of December 13.

The five cups were won by the father of Robin Camacho when he was at school between 1938 and 1940 in rugby, hockey and cross country running. Mr Camacho said: “I went to the same school as my dad, so these were more than just heirlooms. I had hoped to keep them in the family to pass down to future generations.”

The cups are engraved “Prior Park School” and “R F Camacho”.

Anyone with information is asked to call PC Jim Adams on 101.
