Mountain bikers turned up in their hundreds to blow away the Christmas cobwebs on Sunday in the 12th annual Salisbury Plain Area Mountain Biking Winter Challenge (SPAM).
Around 550 riders turned up to the Erlestoke base. The event offered three different distances – 25km, 35km and 50km.
SPAM chairman Martin Disney said that the event generated £6,500 for local charities and groups.
Mr Disney, 37, of Westbourne Road, Trowbridge, said: “The numbers were much better than last year, and it was great to see more families get involved.”
