Pelvic fracture from collision

The A350 was closed for several hours on New Year’s Day, after a two-vehicle collision at the Keevil turning.

Police were called at 11.18am, after a blue Peugeot 306 car carrying five men in their 20s collided with a blue Peugeot 307 car driven by a woman. Both drivers and three of the passengers were unhurt, but one rear passenger suffered abdominal injuries, including a fractured pelvis.

Firefighters from Trow-bridge spent 45 minutes cutting the man free and he was was taken to hospital in Bath. The road re-opened at 2.24pm.

"The Keevil Turning" now THERE's an accurate, detailed piece of reporting. Just out of interest, where the hell is it????

On the A350 between Stoney Gutter and Semington. The road goes to Great Hinton as well as Keevil, so bit of a snub to that village ain't it?

Not giving a monkeys as to the exact point of where it happened, we could just hope that the man injured is doing ok as a fracture to the pelvis can be serious. It always amazes me, someones dear family member has been badly injured and you are more interested in the location which is very sad.

What amazes me is that when someone asks a question out of interest, someone else makes a ridiculous assumption that they have no interest in anything else other than the question asked.
It is fair to expect that in a report that informs us that the event occurred at 11.18, the road re-opened at 2.24, five occupants of one car are in their twenties and that both vehicles were blue, an accurate location would be reasonable.

What amazes me is the attitude that only hackneyed platitudes of faux concern are permissable after such an event.

What amazes me is the rubbish people post about OTHER posts when it's plain they haven't read them properly!!
Why did you write this tripe?????
old 'arry was right - loads of detail re the accident, but clear as fog as to where it happened - Mrs D. posted details of the accident site.
Neither post showed any lack concern/sympathy/sup
port for the people involved in the accident - so what are you talking about?
