A photography exhibition at Calne Library aims to inspire people to think about renewable energy differently.
The exhibition, organised by North Wiltshire Friends of the Earth, opens today and runs until January 31.
It will show 12 images from the winners and runners-up of a national competition organised by Friends of the Earth last year as part of its clean British energy campaign.
The winners were chosen from more than 600 entries from amateur and professional photographers across the country.
Calne resident and North Wilts Friends of the Earth member Sophy Fearnley-Whittingstall was one of the judges of the competition.
She said: “The photographs are amazing, and they don’t just portray wind turbines and solar installations in new and interesting ways, but they show how renewables can help power homes, create jobs and bring communities together.”
