Unwanted Christmas presents could raise cash for good causes in Stanton St Quintin.
Organisers of Stanton spring fete are looking for clothes, toys and books to raise funds to put on the fete.
Sales will be held in Stanton Church Hall on March 2 and 23.
Any money left over is to go back into the community. Last year £350 was raised and donations were given to the primary school and Buckley Barracks’ wives’ club.
This year’s free fete, opposite Buckley Barracks on May 11, will feature a barbecue and cider bar, welly-wanging and hook-a-duck, dancing and gymnastic displays, singing groups and artisan and craft stalls.
More than 300 people attended the 2012 event, which also celebrated the Diamond Jubilee.
Collection of items for the jumble and book sales will start on February 25. Anyone willing to help with events should contact Stuart Jackson on (01666) 837852.
