It's business as usual today for a Trowbridge bathroom and kitchen showroom after a car crashed through its front window yesterday evening.
A Nissan Note smashed through the entrance of Aston Interiors, in Wicker Hill, at around 5pm yesterday, with the large window being boarded off last night.
The shop which sells kitchen, bathroom and bedroom fittings is open as usual today and a locksmith is currently altering a sealed door so customers can easily access the building.
Owner Mourad Tahari said: “My main priority is completing the jobs we’ve got already booked in and getting the showroom back in order at the time being. I’m also really glad as well that nobody got hurt in the incident last night.”
It is thought the woman driving the car lost control in the bad weather.
PC Louise Oakley said: “It would seem the lady driving the car lost control on the bend and then ended up mounting the kerb and going through the shop. It is very slippery out there tonight and it just seems like one of those unfortunate incidents.
“There is no suspicion that the driver was under the influence of alcohol of anything like that, this is just one of those things that happens, from time to time.”
