Rape case driver from Swindon is released on bail

A 42-year-old delivery driver who is accused of raping a young girl has been released on bail by a judge.
Geoffrey Lucioni is said to have committed the sex offence on a girl under the age of 13 between early 2006 and early 2007.
No charge was formally put to the defendant, of Colchester Close, Toothill, when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court and he did not enter a plea.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Tuesday, April 2 when he is due to enter his plea to the charge.
Lucioni was released on bail to live with his girlfriend in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.
He has also been told to stay out of Swindon apart from for work or medical appointments and not have contact with witnesses.
