A man who admitted being involved in dealing in heroin and cocaine has been warned he faces the prospect of a jail term.

Jamal Hume admitted having the drugs when he was arrested on February 29 last year.

The 21-year-old, of Newtown, Trowbridge, pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing class A drugs, with intent to supply, when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.

He said he was a “street dealer”, who had the drugs to supply to other users who were “associated” with him.

Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case until Friday, February 15, for a pre-sentence report to be made and Hume was released on bail until then.
