A Bradford on Avon man who has been trying to complete a charity challenge by dancing from John O’Groats to Land’s End has been forced to postpone again.
Ben Hammond, 34, said: “I suffered a recurrence of an old neck injury and, coupled with preparation issues around our support cyclists, I took the decision to wait until things are organisationally and physically in better shape.”
The former St Laurence School pupil started his 800-mile journey to raise money for charities supporting children in Burma on August 13 but was hit by a drunk driver after passing through his home town in October.
Despite suffering concussion and a head injury requiring stitches he continued until Taunton before a foot injury forced him to stop.
