Dorothy House Hospice has been selected as the first cause to benefit from a new, community-led scheme.
Mark Richardson, who owns the Richardson’s Budgens in Bradford on Avon, has launched Love Local so the store can work with the community to support good causes.
Each time a shopper presents their Love Local card, a percentage of the amount they spend will be contributed to a project.
Yvonne Brinton, fundraising co-ordinator for Dorothy House hospice, said: “We hope that customers will sign up to the scheme, which would help fund the purchase of equipment used by our patients attending our new hydrotherapy sessions.”
Mr Richardson said: “It is important to support those amongst us who are working hard to make people’s lives better.”

I have reason to believe that you changed course as a result of my comment as 'Dot House' has not been used at all since then....until today.
