Staverton residents will be turning out in force on Sunday to tidy up the village.
About 50 residents have volunteered to help collect litter.
The event is being organised by Wiltshire Councillor Trevor Carbin, together with the parish council and the local church.
Cllr Carbin said: “With a main road, a canal, and several area of public open space, there are lots of places in the village for litter to accumulate,.
“We’ve been holding the clean-up annually for some time but this year’s will be the biggest ever.”
The Bradford on Avon Area Board has given a grant of £100 to support the event.
Litter-pickers are asked to assemble at 10.30am at the Sports Ground Pavilion in Staverton.
