A Warminster teenager pleaded guilty to assaulting a man on New Year’s Day when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court today.
Aaron Collinson, 18, of Vicarage Street, answered the charge of unlawful wounding after he assaulted Toby Hayden with a broken bottle in Westbury, leaving his victim with multiple injuries, including some to his face.
Robert Duval, defending, asked for the case to be adjourned to give the probation service time to compile a pre-sentence report.
He said that while his client was now 18 he was only 17 at the time of the offence and only had two previous convictions for criminal damage.
Collinson has been released on bail until Friday, April 5 on the condition he does not have contact with the victim.
Brandon South, 18, of Primmers Place, Westbury, was found not guilty of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
