Witnesses sought after Trowbridge nightclub attack

Witnesses are being sought after a man was injured in an unprovoked assault at MooMoo nightclub in Trowbridge on Saturday.
A 27-year-old man was attacked at around 3am, in the Castle Street, premises.
The victim was standing alone at the ground floor bar, wearing a grey hoodie, blue jeans and white trainers.
He was punched on the nose, kicked about the head and struck with a bottle suffering cuts to the back of the head and nose and bruising to his upper body.
He was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath where he was treated and later discharged.
Acting Police Sergeant Gemma Rutter said: “This appears to have been a vicious and unprovoked assault on a young man who was enjoying a night out with a friend.
“I am very keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the assault, or who has information which can lead us to the person who was responsible.”
