Swap seeds to get garden off to a great start
2:30pm Thursday 7th March 2013 in News
ANYONE who’s had a garden for any length of time, whether simply growing a few flowers in a border at home or keeping the kitchen well stocked from an allotment, will be bound to have a few spare packets of seed lying around.
The Melksham Community Seed Swap, at Well House Manor on Spa Road on Saturday, is a great opportunity to exchange some of those seeds, crowns or sets for something you might be short of.
Even if you don’t have seeds to swap, come along for an afternoon of meeting other gardeners and chatting about all things green and growing.
Teas, coffees and homemade cakes will all be on sale too, between 2pm and 5pm. Turn up with seeds to swap clearly labelled and saved in packets or envelopes).
Free entry, donations requested to cover event costs.
