AWDRY Bailey and Douglas will open for business in Chippenham town centre on Monday.
The new branch of the Wiltshire-based solicitors is at 38 Market Place. The law firm also has offices in the nearby towns of Devizes, Calne, Marlborough and Royal Wootton Bassett.
Alexander David, partner and head of family law, is heading up the Chippenham team. He said: “Chippenham possesses a great sense of community and is continuing to develop and grow. The entire team at Awdry Bailey and Douglas are delighted to be coming to Chippenham and are very much looking forward to the office opening.”
Two new jobs have been created, bringing the total number of staff up to nearly 80 across its five offices.
Tim Hotchkiss, a member of the firm’s commercial team, will also be based in the Chippenham office. He said: “I look forward to getting involved with the people of Chippenham and assisting the business sector as it moves forward.”
Catherine Cole, who specialises in wills and probate, will also be seen running around the town’s streets as she trains for this year’s London Marathon.
