Girl suffers minor injuries after collision with car in Trowbridge

A girl, believed to be 12 years old, was involved in a collision with a car on Frome Road in Trowbridge today at about 3pm.
Police were called to the scene at 3.08pm and a single ambulance crew was on the scene at 3.15pm. The girl was taken to the RUH in Bath as a precaution, but only suffered minor leg and head injuries.
The incident happened on Frome Road between Wiltshire College and Clarendon College. The car, a silver Volkswagen Golf, was being driven by a man from the Trowbridge area.
The driver of the car was treated at the scene by the ambulance crew for shock.
