Cast members of Good Things, which is being staged by Clarendon Players
Clarendon Players’ spring production Good Things, a romantic comedy by Scottish dramatist and poet Liz Lochhead, opens tonight at the Memorial Hall in Royal Wootton Bassett.
The play will be performed again tomorrow, and on Saturday, at 7.30pm.
It is set in a charity shop, and director Paula Clifford is delighted that a recent appeal in the Gazette has enabled the Players to borrow a cash register for the set.
“It would not be much good to have a shop with out a till, and we’re very grateful for the prompt response,” she said.
Wendy Mitchell, Alec Smith, Doreen Hewer and David Gray have leading roles in this entertaining play, which offers a blend of laughter and pathos.
Tickets from the Post Office or pay at the door.
