The Gruffalo to visit Wiltshire libraries
Popular children’s book character the Gruffalo will be making a special appearance at ten Wiltshire libraries this Easter.
The Wiltshire Council-run libraries are holding special free holiday activities, which will include stories, activities and an appearance by the Gruffalo.
Chippenham and Calne libraries are also running a Gruffalo colouring competition, open to children under nine.
Colouring sheets are available from the libraries or their pages on the council’s website. Completed entries need to be returned by Friday, March 22.
The Gruffalo is one of the most popular children’s books in the country, written by Children’s Laureate Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler.
