Police are called to break up brawl outside club
A FIGHT broke out outside a popular town centre nightclub in the early hours of Sunday.
About seven men were involved in the incident, which took place outside Bushwackers just after 3am, and some of them needed treatment at Great Western Hospital.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Acting Inspector Simon Drewett, of Wiltshire Police, said: “Officers attended after an initial report that a large fight was going on.
“We had another report which said there were seven or eight people fighting. On attendance we located a number of individuals who had clearly been involved in an altercation.
“Several of them had to go to hospital for a check up. One of the males sustained a head injury.
“We allowed them to be treated and caught up with them afterwards.
“We are continuing with our inquiries to identify those responsible.”
Anyone who saw the incident is asked to call Wiltshire Police on 101.
