Writer Leslie Rocker, 85, is making the most of the latest technology by releasing his new novel, Tiger’s Heart – Shakespeare’s Lost Years, on Kindle through Amazon.
In the story Mr Rocker, of Ridgeway Court, Warminster, looks at how the Bard spent the years between leaving his home in Stratford-upon-Avon and finding fame at the Globe.
While there are many theories about how he spent his ‘lost years’, the book suggests solutions in a fictional form using characters that may have influenced his literary output.
Mr Rocker dismisses speculation that the works ascribed to Shakespeare were written by another.
Mr Rocker, a former journalist, professional actor and stage manager, said: “It involved a lot of research, but it’s a really interesting story and something I’m very passionate about.”
