Holt Beavers picked up a cash donation and their global challenge badges during a visit to a Waitrose store.
The 24 Beavers were given a cheque for £370 from the Melksham store’s Community Matters fund, before touring the aisles and learning about foods from across the world.
They had a question session about what they had learned, which earned the badges.
Anne Cranham, chairman of Broughton Gifford and Holt Scout Group, said: “We are very grateful because it means we can keep the cost of Beaver Scouting down.”
The cash will go to a weekend at Oxenwood in May.
