Wiltshire Air Ambulance airlifted a man to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol at 12.30pm today, after he was injured in a collision with a car at a Westbury car auction in Northacre Industrial Park.
The incident took place at the Aston Barclay auction site and left a 74-year-old man with serious head injuries, while another man, thought to be in his 40s, also sustained minor injuries.
After colliding with the two men, the car hit five parked cars, including a Ford Focus, Mercedes and BMW, before eventually coming to a stop.
The incident happened when the car was being brought around from an outside car park to the auction hall by one of the employees.
Police initially attended the scene with ambulance crews, but the incident has now been handed over to the Health and Safety Executive.
The manager at Aston Barclay was not available for comment.
