Two men accused of carrying out a robbery on New Year's Eve are to face trial by judge and jury.
Jamie Taylor and Samuel Whittaker are said of committing the offence on Monday, December 31 last year.
They are said to have stolen a mobile phone and wallet from a man during the alleged incident.
Taylor, 20, and Whittaker, 19, both pleaded not guilty to a charge of robbery when they appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Monday July 8 and remanded Whittaker, of Marshmead, Hilperton, in custody until then.
He released Taylor, of St Helen's Court, Shails Lane, Trowbridge, on bail on condition he lives at home and observes a nighttime curfew.
