A man from Bradford on Avon has been charged with three separate offences after failing to stop for police.
Officers attempted a routine stop of a car on Canal Road, Trowbridge, for a defected light in the early hours of Sunday August 4.
The car made off at speed leading officers on a short pursuit to Broughton Gifford where the occupants decamped.
Two individuals were arrested but later released without charge. Later that morning 22-year-old Matthew Rogers, from Downs View in Bradford on Avon, was arrested and charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice, dangerous driving and possession of a class B drug.
He is now due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on 9th October 2013.
