Residents and members of the public enjoyed a fete at Southfield Care Home in Victoria Road, Devizes.
The home had not had a summer fete for about two years and this year could be its last opportunity, as a new care home to replace Southfield is being built in Horton Road, Devizes.
Devizes mayor Pete Smith also paid a visit to the fete on Saturday.
Southfield administrative assistant Elaine Booth said: “We had a very successful fete. Residents, their families and members of the public came along and it was quite busy.”
Stalls included jewellery, cakes, bric-a-brac, books, clothes and the refreshments on offer included tea and coffee, plus hot dogs and hamburgers. The fete raised £600 for Southfield’s amenity fund and the residents will decide what to spend it on.
