Pervert GP banned from practising medicine
A DOCTOR who was jailed after filming himself sexually abusing female patients has been struck off the medical register.
It follows a two-day hearing by the Medical Practioners Tribunal Service, in Manchester, to decide if Davinder Bains, could ever practice again.
The panel have also ordered an immediate suspension of his medical licence to cover the 28-day appeal period.
The panel said: "Given the seriousness of the case and the sanction that the Panel has imposed, the Panel considers that it is otherwise in the public interest to make an immediate order for suspension in order to maintain confidence in the profession and the regulatory process.
"Furthermore, as Dr Bains is in prison and is susceptible to pressure from other prisoners to act as a medical practitioner, particularly in relation to writing prescriptions, the Panel considers that it is also in his best interests to make an immediate order for suspension."
