A charity football match held in Corsham last month raised more than £500 for the Emerton Foundation, in memory of five-year-old Emerton Chisholm-Joyce.
The match was organised by his uncle Martin Joyce on behalf of the foundation, which was set up in tribute to Emerton after his death last year.
The game at Corsham Town’s Lacock Road ground saw Gladstone Rovers draw 4-4 against Chippenham West End on August 18, who were captained by Emerton’s cousin Leighton.
Mr Joyce said: “It was a really good day; it was really sunny and we had a good turnout.
“We raised £550 for autism and leukaemia, the two conditions Emerton had.
“I would like to thank all the people that turned up to watch, and especially Corsham Town FC for letting us use their ground.”
