Special guest at emergency show
1:10pm Friday 6th September 2013 in News
THERE will be a chance to chat to the Police and Crime Commissioner, Angus Macpherson, at the Emergency Services Show at Hullavington airfield on Sunday.
Mr Macpherson will be at the event, which runs from 10am and 4pm, in his distinctive purple and whit.
He said: “My job is to be the voice of the public on police and crime matters.
“Being at the Emergency Services Show will give me the opportunity to meet many of the visitors and to find out about their priorities and any particular concerns they might have.
“There are lots of great attractions at the show, but I hope lots of people will come across to chat to me and find out more about my role.
“I can explain how my Innovation Fund works for anyone representing a group that might wish to apply, and I can talk about the services I will be commissioning from a range of organisations to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, and to support victims of crime.”
This will be the eighth Emergency Services Show.
Tickets can be bought on the day and cost £6 for adults, £3 for children under 16 and are free for children under three. For further information, go to www.emergencyservicesshow.com
