Knife accused waits in jail

A MAN accused of carrying out a robbery at knifepoint has been remanded in custody by a judge.
Leon Morris is said to have stolen an iPhone 4S during the alleged incident in Toothill centre on August 13.
The 27-year-old, of Godolphin Close, Freshbrook, is accused of robbery and possessing a bladed article. No charge was put to Morris during the hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Recorder Michael Vere-Hodge QC adjourned the case to November 15 and remanded the defendant, who appeared court by video link, in custody until then.
