Bradford on Avon’s annual flower show proved as popular as ever, despite having to move to a new venue.
Refurbishment work at St Margaret’s Hall left organisers having to swap to Christ Church Primary School in Berryfield Road.
Mayor John Potter, who handed out prizes, said the event went smoothly and he was delighted with the turnout.
He said: “There was a very good quality of entries. The overall standard was very high and I was really impressed with the submissions in the children’s categories.
“A couple that really stood out were a vegetable garden made from Lego and an enormous papier mache radish.”
He praised the hard work of the town council’s event committee and volunteers.
Categories included cookery, drinks and novelty.
