Bradford man charged over three burglaries

A Bradford on Avon man has been charged with three counts of burglary.
Matthew Edward Reynolds, 38, of Bancroft, was due at North West Wiltshire Magistrates Court, in Chippenham, this week on charges relating to an overnight burglary, in Marston Road, Trowbridge, overnight on August 7, a burglary in Trowbridge Road, Bradford on Avon, on August 15 and another in the town later that day.
Wiltshire Police has warned the public to ensure they lock their doors and windows following an increase of burglaries in Bradford on Avon.
Sums of money, handbags, an Xbox 360, cameras and other electrical items have been taken in the offences.
There has been a total of 28 burglaries in Bradford on Avon since June, and PC Jamie Darvill said: “The link in many is that these are opportunities targeting insecure properties. We really need to hammer home this message for the public to be vigilant.”
