MEMBERS of fitness group Pole-Da-Cise raised £5,579.65 from their annual event at the White Horse Country Park in Westbury.

Pole-Da-Cise, which has studios in Westbury and Melksham, held the event in aid of BlobbysHelp, which is raising money for a Phantom Machine at the Bristol Oncology Centre.

The event was sponsored by Barclays Bank branches, which donated £1,500, and included music, a raffle and dance. Pole-Da-Cise’s effort let BlobbysHelp reach its target of £83,000.

Instructor and administrator Michelle Glass said: “This year is the biggest total from one night. It’s a fantastic amount. The hard work and dedication at the pole fitness classes really shone on stage.”

Brittany Ferries and Westbury’s T-Shirt and Sons gave major raffle prizes.
