The Lions Club of Devizes is taking Father Christmas around the streets of Devizes to meet youngsters.
He will visit on most evenings until December 20 from 5.30pm to 7.45pm. This is one of the club’s most important fund-raising collections of the year, helping it to support many needy causes.
Today he visits Quakers Road, Keepers Road, Palmer Road, Coppers Road, Golden Road, Roundway Park, Parkfield, Flax Mill Park, Moonrakers, Folly Road to Coombe Walk and White Horse Way On Monday is Kingsmanor Wharf, Le Marchant Close, Harebell Way and cul-de-sacs, Tornio Close, Proudman Road, Matilda Way and cul-de-sacs, Stockwell Road and cul-de-sacs.
Tuesday includes Meadow Drive, Dowse Road, Spitalcroft Road, Wadworth Road, Kemp Close, Elizabeth Drive and cul-de-sacs, Oamaru Way and surrounding roads. Wednesday takes in The Patchway and cul-de-sacs, Chivers Road and roads off, Osmund Road, Alan Cobham Road and roads off and Teasel Close.
