Wilshire Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault and robbery which occurred in the early hours of this morning. 

At approximately 12.30am, a 19-year-old male was walking along Cumberland Road when he was approached by a male.

He was engaged in conversation before being joined by a second male.

The pair demanded he hand over some personal belongings, including an Apple iPhone and an amount of money.

The first suspect is described as a white male with short dark blonde hair. He is around 5'8" tall, of average build and aged in his early 20s. He was wearing a red hooded top and dark trousers.

The second suspect is a white male of average build and aged in his early 20s, slightly shorter than the other attacker.

He was wearing a dark hoodie and dark trousers.
