A man charged with raping a woman in Devizes is to face trial by jury.
Donald Black, 28, pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.
Black, of Streatham, south London, is accused of carrying out the attack on Sunday, July 21, last year.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Monday, May 19, when Black is to face trial.
He released Black on bail on condition he does not contact witnesses in the case, and lives and sleeps at his home address.
