PRODUCTION at the Honda Manufacturing Factory near South Marston has been halted for two days as bad weather has meant parts cannot be delivered to the UK.

The factory lines have all been shut down as the company waits for the components to arrive, which are believed to be on a container ship struggling to reach these shores.

However, it is not believed there will be any long term impact on the workers who, due to shift patterns, will make up any lost hours at a later date.

There is also expected to be no effect on orders for cars.
